The holiday season
This holiday season, give a meaningful gift to your family, friends and colleagues by donating to 60 million girls – and help support girls’ education.
We are a small organization making a big impact!
60 million girls invests in innovative educational initiatives for vulnerable children – especially girls – to improve the quality of education.
We believe that, while the magnitude of the need is huge, touching the life of even one child can make all the difference for that individual. Every child has the right to a quality education. You can help!
All funds raised this year will go towards our projects in Guatemala, Liberia and Tanzania. You can read about them HERE.
This holiday season, don’t underestimate the gift of supporting
education. Please help us reach our 2018 target of $300,000.
It takes only a click to make the world a better place.
Are you searching for the perfect gift for that special person in your life? Make a donation and ask us to send a card in your name with a message of your choice.
All donations are 100% tax deductible. An income tax receipt will be mailed to you in February 2019.
We wish you all a wonderful holiday season!
You can make a difference! Every bit counts!
At the end of each December, we turn over the donations we have collected throughout the year to our partner organizations. This year, these funds will support our educational projects in Guatemala, Liberia and Tanzania. We couldn’t do it without your help. THANK YOU!
We are so fortunate to have so many generous supporters. Here are a few examples of giving that really made a difference:
Sarah Kestenberg loves to cook! She works for a start-up company in Toronto and began making lunches for a few colleagues in September. Using plant-based, local products, she concocts soups and salads that are delivered in biodegradable boxes a few times each week. Each nutritious and delicious meal costs just $10 and has been thoroughly enjoyed by her co-workers. Throughout the fall, Sarah has been able to collect over $600 and decided to donate the proceeds to us. What a thoughtful initiative!
Bluedrop Performance Learning, a company headquartered in St John’s, is committed to skills training both in Canada and abroad. For this reason, when it held its online auction this year, it again chose to support 60 million girls. We are very grateful for its continued support!
The Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore Montreal has generously supported the Foundation since our inception in 2006. This year, its president, Christian Auger, presented a cheque of $10,000 to Wanda Bedard. Our sincere thanks to the Club for their strong community commitment and their support of children around the world!
Again, thank you so much to all of our supporters far and wide!
13th annual conference
This year, our annual conference took place on November 12th at the Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec. Of the approximately 160 guests who attended, there were students from Collège Sainte-Anne, Collège Reine-Marie and Beaconsfield High School, as well as many of our partners. Click here to read more.
