The BC Chapter of 60 million girls is delighted to invite you to attend an informal lunch with Marc Kielburger, co-founder of Free The Children, an international charity and education partner founded in Canada. The lunch is a celebration of 60 million girls’ sponsorship of Free The Children’s girls’ secondary school project in Oleleshwa, Kenya. Marc will share details about the project, speak about the enormous impact of educating youth indeveloping countries and the role we all play in changing the world.
Marc Kielburger is a Canadian icon in philanthropy, a social entrepreneur, New York Times best-selling author, and gifted orator. With his brother, Craig Kielburger, Marc also co-founded pioneering social enterprise Me to We, as well as the youth empowerment event We Day. Please join us for this rare opportunity of an intimate informal lunch with Mr. Kielburger, who will be answering audience questions.
