We were thrilled to hear about this new documentary. Any film that increases awareness about girls’ education is a great thing, but this one is sure to have a wide audience, with voiceovers by Salma Hayek, Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett, Alicia Keys, Liam Neeson and more.

Another interesting fact: UNESCO Institute for Statistics based here in Montreal was a partner in providing the statistics and context for the issues discussed in the film.  UIS provides the statistics used in all UN agencies around the world in relation to education among other topics.
