We’re pleased to see this fascinating post on The Guardian’s Poverty Matters blog.  It speaks with eight teachers from Uganda, Angola, Ghana, the Ivory Coast and South Sudan, who share their biggest challenges and their hopes for the future in education.

Some of the issues on the table? Low teachers’ salaries, overcrowded classrooms, teachers’ education, hungry kids, and, of course, the importance of educating girls.
